MONOCHROME
Awarded for the work "Synchronized", Brigitta Both presented her solo show "Monochrome" in 2018 with works done between 2015 and 2018 in the Centre Cultural Terrassa, Spain.

Monochrome is a piece that mainly speaks about the fragility and unpredictability of all aspects of life, and about the beauty of the infinite nuances of human feelings. The artist merges two pictorial concepts, realism and abstraction, and uses a simplified monochrome technique with large contrasts: white, symbolizing purity and harmony, and black, representing chaos and confusion.
